This is a chart that shows the age most children are able to accurately say each sound. 

We work with your child to improve their understanding of information presented verbally (receptive language) such as directions and lectures and their ability to effectively express their wants, needs, thoughts and ideas (expressive language). 

We work with your child to learn how to communicate effectively with other in many areas such as nonverbal communication, holding conversations, understanding feelings and perspectives and much more!

Fluency therapy teaches strategies to allow for smoother speech when speaking in a variety of situations.  Children who stutter may repeat sounds, words or phrases, hold onto sounds longer than needed, use lots of interjections such as "um" or struggle to get their voice started. In addition, we work on understanding fluency and the emotions that go with it.

We work with your child to understand the problem, determine the cause and ways to effectively solve the problem understanding how these solutions not only affect them but the other people in the situation. 

Voice therapy focuses on vocal health and hygiene to improve vocal pitch, volume and quality. This helps those who have concerns about the way their voice sounds or medical concerns such as vocal nodules.
